The Cascade Amateur Radio Society(CARS) / Oregon HamWAN will hold their Annual Meeting and Pot Luck Dinner on Saturday, January 4th, 2020 at 6-9pm at the LDS Church at 9901 SE Caruthers Street, Portland OR 97216 (just East of I-205 off Division Street).
Your whole family is invited. CARS will provide the Ham & Turkey. Please bring a Salad or Dessert to share.
Rob Salsgiver, NR3O, will be our featured Speaker. Rob is a key member of the Puget Sound Data Ring (Seattle HamWAN) group. He will be coming down to Portland to speak on HamWAN and to answer questions. I think my first email exchange with him about HamWAN was in 2013. He has a wealth of knowledge and should be an engaging speaker.
There will be a Silent Auction to do some fundraising; so be sure to bring your wallet/purse. There will also be some Door Prizes.
No White Elephant Gift Exchange this year.
We will be electing CARS officers for 2020 also.
